I’ll be honest: I’m not usually the person who jumps on every new supplement trend. I like to know what I’m putting in my body, and I’m naturally a little skeptical when something starts popping up all over my social media feed.

But after months of feeling tired and just not quite like myself, I decided to give Primal Queen a try. Nine months later, I wanted to share my experience, what I’ve noticed, and what you should know if you’ve been curious about beef organ supplements.

Why I Decided to Try Primal Queen

For a while, I felt like my energy was just off. I was tired, especially in the afternoons, and started wondering whether my hormones might have something to do with it.

I went to my doctor to have my hormone levels checked, but I was told they were normal. That was reassuring, but I still didn't feel quite like myself.

Around that time, I kept seeing Primal Queen advertised. A girlfriend of mine had also started taking it and was having a positive experience, so I decided to look into it.

I wasn’t expecting a miracle. I simply wanted to try something extra and see how I felt.

What Is Primal Queen?

Primal Queen is a beef organ supplement formulated specifically for women. Instead of taking individual organs or trying to prepare organ meats yourself, you get them in capsule form.

According to the company, its original beef organ formula includes six organs from cattle: liver, heart, kidney, uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. The company also describes its sourcing as grass-fed and pasture-raised.

Organ meats are naturally nutrient-dense. Depending on the organ, they can provide nutrients such as vitamin B12, iron, zinc, selenium, and vitamin A. These nutrients play important roles in normal bodily functions, including red blood cell production and energy metabolism.

That doesn't mean a supplement will automatically correct a deficiency or make everyone feel different. Your nutritional needs and your response to a supplement are personal, which is worth keeping in mind.

What appealed to me was the convenience. I wasn't interested in figuring out how to prepare organ meats, but I was willing to try them in capsule form.

My Primal Queen Experience: What I Noticed

The first three weeks: My nails

I was initially concerned about how my stomach would handle the supplement, particularly constipation. Because of that, I started with just one capsule a day rather than jumping straight into a full serving.

I didn't experience the constipation I was worried about.

Within about three weeks, I noticed my nails were growing really long. And when I say long, I mean I scratched my son and realized I probably needed to trim them. 😂

That was the first noticeable change for me, and definitely not something I had been expecting so quickly.

Around six to eight weeks: My energy

The next change I noticed was my energy.

By about a month and a half to two months in, I wasn't feeling as exhausted in the afternoon. You know that 2–3 p.m. slump when you're already thinking about your next cup of coffee? I wasn't reaching for that third coffee the way I had been before.

I can't tell you exactly why I felt different, and I wouldn't claim that everyone will have the same experience. But I could tell that something had changed in how I felt throughout the day.

Four months later: My hair..... was getting SOOOOOO LONG!

This is where things have gotten particularly noticeable for me.

It's been NINE months since I started taking Primal Queen.

After nine months of taking Primal Queen, my hair has grown almost six inches. My nails are thicker and longer than they've ever been, to the point that I'm trimming them weekly. I've also noticed that my skin looks more glowing, and my energy has continued to feel better throughout the day.

I want to be clear that these are my personal observations, not a promise that the supplement will produce the same results for someone else.

I also haven't added a bunch of other supplements, started using a special hair-growth shampoo, or completely changed my diet during this time. I generally eat pretty well, but I haven't made any major lifestyle changes that I can point to as an obvious explanation for what I've noticed.

Primal Queen is the main new thing I've consistently added to my routine.

Would I Recommend Primal Queen?

For me, the answer is yes. I've continued taking it because I've been happy with my personal experience, and the changes I've noticed have made it worth continuing.

I also appreciate that it gives me a convenient way to include organ-based nutrition without having to cook organ meats. That alone makes it more realistic for my everyday routine.

That said, supplements aren't one-size-fits-all. If you're dealing with ongoing fatigue, hair changes, or other symptoms, don't assume a supplement is the answer. It's worth talking with your healthcare provider about possible causes rather than trying to figure everything out on your own.

And because organ meats can be rich in certain nutrients, including preformed vitamin A from liver, check with your healthcare professional or pharmacist before starting if you're pregnant, planning a pregnancy, have a medical condition, or take medications or other supplements.

Follow the current product label for dosing instructions. When I started, I took one capsule daily for the first three weeks because I wanted to ease into it. Primal Queen's current website lists two capsules daily, taken with meals, but always check the directions on the product you receive.

My Final Thoughts

I started taking Primal Queen because I was tired of feeling tired. I was skeptical; I wasn't expecting anything dramatic, and I certainly didn't start out thinking I'd be writing a review nine months later.

But I've noticed changes in my energy, hair, skin, and nails that I'm happy with, and I wanted to share that honestly.

It's not a miracle cure, and I can't promise you'll have the same experience. I can only tell you what I've personally noticed and why I've chosen to keep taking it.

If you've tried Primal Queen, I'd love to hear about your experience, too. Have you noticed a difference, or are you still deciding whether to give it a try?

With Love, Jayme
